well...I hafta motivate to get my wheel seals on and pack the bearings/inspect teh brakes etc....uhhhg.....Ill get it done might take another week tho!

we were standing next to my boat talking about what we could replace the material that is on the top of the boat.(if we get that far) it's on the top of the sides and the bow triangle. wife goes it looks fine, it's a fishing boat. my son turns to her and says would you get all dressed up with nice shoes,good dress and makeup and not do your hair?
she looked at me and walked away!

I think you should go for white or maybe a light grey on the trailer color. I'm thinking grey with some black pin striping.
I know that you will make it look cool.

They really don't have a clue.
Mine complains about the time I spend on mine but I am only spending a couple day's a month on the boat. OK, so I'm only home a couple days a month.

I dont think your boat is cool at all, ALL the people are gunna hate it, Ill do you a favor and take it off your hands.

Obviously Im just jealous I like those white rims.

I have been pondering that same question.....I would vote for silver, there are just a lot of white ones out there. I have toyed with the idea of galvanizing mine, but think I have talked myself back into paint....probably silver by the way (boat will have a silver accent color).

By the way, I saw your poi-glow video on youtube. How hard was it to use? Their website isn't very informative on that.....looked great once you had it done. I may try it on my Sea Ray next spring.

yup its SOLD.....(glastron)

soon as I get my work done for the week (photo work) then Ill be able to put some hours into the sleek.......

another 2 days of photoshop work and I hope to be done....next job isnt until the 27th! So ill need to drum up some work before Christmas or watch my ducks.

Im glad you sold the glastron and pickied up some work. My business just got real slow and should pick up in January. Cant wait to see you get back to work on the two boats( I still think your crazy for doing two boats at the same time lol) you have left. Come on spring time

Hey Vert, we have a 3rd boat that needs resto too! I have been tinkering with the outboard on it once in a while...just did the carb OH on it. (14ft Glaspar G3) it needs 200 gel coat cracks (crazing) fixed and just about everythiing else fixed

Wow, what a read...finally catching up on some over-due reading.
This is awesome VPM, not sure which I'd like to have more, your wife's and your's energy levels, this sweet looking ride, or your wife as a project co-worker...you guys make an awesome team, although mine will bring me a beer and a samich now & then lol. Whew, that's all I can type right now, you guys wore me out just reading all the work you've done in such a short time. Kudo's on the great job your doing on everything.

call me crazy, but it has been soooooo windy and cold here, the last few days were off limits to working on the boats....but....I did pick up 4 wheel seals and a set of bearings for the sleekcraft trailer. plus some PVC pipe and fittings for a tarp support

my plan was to install it all today (Christmas day bearing duty!) but the MIL wants us over early (noon) uuuhg....way to early! 1030am right now Im still drinkin cofee and getting the crust out of my eyes!

Christmas eve I made the boat cover tarp support out of the pvc I got the other day....should help keep the rain from pooling and leaking in!

Wow, I read this thread when it was fairly new, but I just read the rest and thought that I needed to stop in and say Hi!. I really like the boat, it's awesome. I've never seen one like it before and I really like how unique it is. You're progress is really movin' fast too, keep it up, that boat would get a lot of looks here. We have a lot of Bayliners around here and such and not a lot of unique ones like yours.

That Vegas weather is makin' me jealous, it was 27 this morning
