I just installed a similar but smaller unit in my Polaris Ranger - now I have heat while plowing!

I had a fiat Strada back in the 80's what led you to use a fiat powertrain?
Nothing Fiat about the powertrain. its a 5.3 liter LS4 with 243 heads coupled to my spare solstice GXP AR5 by changing the bell housing from a jeep V6 / AX5 trans (GM 60 degree pattern) and 1984 Corvette IFS/IRS

only thing Fiat is the body

In the middle of a floor refinish and the belt sander and multi tool eat themselves. Amazon and ebay to the rescue with new bearings, and a used motor assembly

A bit of JB weld to secure the new bearing, and the fan

Work is still getting in the way of home projects.... Home projects are getting in the way of car projects

Gives me hope. That's on the "sooner than later" list here.
if you have a choice between the drum sander and belt sander from your local rental house......get the belt sander. it is about 40# lighter, however does a better job. the drum sander leaves drum-width divots if you stop moving for a second..... plus its really hard to lift that heavy thing from the passenger seat of the convertible.
