Prop advice please

I have a 1995 Crownline 210 CCR with a 5.7L Alpha one and a gear ratio of 1.50. The boat came with 2 aluminum props, both have a couple of nicks in them. The dry weight is 3900 lbs. With 50 gallons of fuel, 3 people, gear, i'm guessing around 4800 fully loaded.

With the 21p, the boat is a slug out of the hole. The 19p does better and puts me in the middle of the WOT RPM range of 4200-4600. I want to go with a stainless prop but am unsure of 4 blade vs. 3 blade. Would a 4 blade 21p prop give a better hole shot while giving me a little more top end than the 19p or should i stick with the 19p to keep the hole shot? I don't pull anyone but don't want to be embarassed by a boat that won't easily plane with friends aboard.

I have a 18.0 Crownline Bowrider that had a 3 blade Al 21P prop. This spring I switched to a 4 blade SS 19P at the suggestion of my prop rebuilder (who also sells props, of course) and I couldn't be happier. This prop allows me to get on plane at a lower speed- and the boat doesn't struggle to get on plane like it did with the old AL prop.
Some dealers will allow you to try different props until you find one you like- with some restrictions. Usually for SS props, return in a period of time, like new condition, etc......
Might be worth checking out.

What effect does diameter have on prop selection? My 19p is 14" and the 21p is 14 1/2". I have a friend with a 21' Bayliner capri cuddy with a 5.0L motor, and a 15" 17p prop that blasts up out of the hole and still runs 53mph @ WOT whereas i only get around 44.5....
