Greetings - I had purchased a Enerita 19p Prop. and didn't turn it that well, I think it was too much prop for the motor. 4.3 Mercruiser 1992 LX, 4BBL Weber, only got around 4200 RPM's. The Merc Manual I have says it should be about 4700. I sold the prop and put the factor 3 blad 19 back on.

The enertia had really big and wide blades. Does anyone have a suggestion on a brand/pitch/3 blade / 4 blade.

Note to the Mods - I had started a post when I purchased this Prop, however, this time around I thought it best to start a new thread becuase it is a new topic, at least, I think it is. I apologize in advance if you believe it is duplicative and I understand if you need to move it.

Stiletto Bay Pro II. 4 blade
Merc Hi5. 5 Blade
Merc Vensura 4 blade

Personal experience with the above units so I can vouch for them.
As for size and pitch it all depends on boat size and what you want go do.
19 pitch in a 3 blade aluminum seems low to me unless you maybe got a real big boat for that engine. Usually 18 to 19 footers run a 14x23 aluminum as stock with a 4.3.
