Sooner or later I'll need to replace a shear pin and I can't find instructions on removing the clutch hub. I hope that it doesn't involve removing the prop shaft bearing housing.
Thanks.

Thanks dew2 :)
Those first few pages sure gave me a smile... The whole manual kept me smiling. That's what I call a "collector's item".
However, I still need a trick to get that part off. Here is a sharper area view of the parts. Number 28 needs removal, I don't want to break anything and it's my first time at this task. Thanks

That should pull off with your fingers. If it is stuck, it is corroded on. But if it is corroded on, it won't shear the drive pin because it has to rotate on the shaft to shear the pin, and it can't rotate on the shaft because it is corroded on. But don't worry, you still have protection. The rubber ring does that. If you clobber a rock, the rubber jumps a notch on the hub. That is what it is there for.

However the rubber ring won't jump that notch if it is old and petrified hard.

Thanks F_R,
My rubber ring has some pliability still. If the prop hits a rock the hub should still jump. Good to know.
Then the corrosion is between the prop shaft and the hub? The core of the hub is brass. Should I use penetrating oil between the brass core and steel shaft?
Added: Success!
The hub pulled off with the fingers just like F_R suggested. I used a few drops of penetrating oil, a few gentle taps with a wooden mallet and it pulled straight out. Thank you Forum. Cheers, Roman
