Hi All,

I'm a newbie. Here's my question: I'm looking to replace a prop for my 1998 Evinrude 200 HP. It's carbureted not ficht. The model number is E200TXECM.
I looked at it today and there were no model #'s or info on the prop. What I'm looking for is what the standard OEM prop dimensions for this engine are. It will need to be replaced and I'd like to get a headstart on the job. I read the "sticky" but I'm not able to give all the info. Curent prop: I could read Michigan on it but that's all; don't know diameter or pitch; it's aluminum (but would like to change to ss). The boat is a 230 Sunbird Neptune w/a, engine on bracket; top speed is about 38 mph. I use it mostly for fishing (no wakeboarding or skiing). I couldn't find this info anywhere.
Thanks.

There is no "standard" prop. It's most likely 14 1/4" diameter but could be a little less or more. What's your top rpm? maybe we can run it thru the slip calculator backwards and come up with a ballpark.
