I tried out the 4 blade 8 pitch tonight with just me in the boat. definitely an improvement in holeshot and still around 20mph. I was hitting the rev limiter though at full wot. I will need to watch that as mentioned. hoping with 2 people it will keep me below the limiter and give the meeded holeshot to get on plane with 2 adults.

I'm sure this is likely a dead thread. Just curious what happened. I have a similar story.
df20a Zuki 20hp efi 4 stroke 14' tinny v hull. Getting 5850? Rpm with 2 people and dog. 22 mph.
this motor tops at 6500-6600 rpm I believe.
Ive got a 13.5' richline to 35mph 6500rpm
should I do a 9" alloy prop or
8" stainless prop? Maybe even 4 blade???
