Without knowing what boat typical load and size of skiers its difficilt to be accurate but: I would say a 15 is way too much prop for skiing.I would think something closer to 12 would be better. You shouldn't make any prop changes without knowing your presaent max rpm and speed.Your 35 will pull skiers
but will require careful setup, prop etc.and minimum weight aboard.

Thanks steelespike!! Sorry its been so long since ive updates this thread nut I've been busy with my resto! http://forums.iboats.com/showthread.php?t=246184 Yea from what all I've read in here it leads me to believe that I would be better off with a lower pitch... The hull is a 14' MirroCraft, I'm not sure of the factory WOT rpm's nor do I have a tach so I can't offer rpm info which I know is crutial...But do you think with my given setup dropping it down to a 13 pitch would be an issue?

You could add a tinytach for about $40 then you would know right whereyou are at.Easy install fits any motor of similar design without regard to stator poles.Yes a 13 would certainly help for skiing but keep in mind running a motor outside its rpm range can cause premature engine failure. You won't have a clue where you are at.With a tach you could fine tune for the exact prop and fine tune your setup.Vertical height can get 2 to 3 mph under ideal conditions. If you could borrow a GPS you would be golden.
