Prop from merc 1400 fit alpha II drive?

not sure how to figure this out. I am trying to sell a prop off my 1978 mercury 1400. A buyer wants to know if it will fit his Merc 3.0 and alpha II drive.

anybody know?

Nope,...... It won't Work,......

It'll Fit, as far as the propshafts are the same,...........
But the diameter of the main body of the prop is Smaller,+ it'll just Ventilate.......

The Mid-sized gear case outboards are a 4" diameter,....
The Large, V6 outboards,+ Outdrives use a 4, 1/2" gear case.....
