Prop Hub Kit

I just recieved a new prop. Can I remove the hub from my old prop and use it in my new prop? If yes, what is the best way to get it out of the old prop?

If both props are the Quiksilver torque II hub type assemblies then the answer is yes These props use a square plastic hub with a brass spline insert, but if your props have the old press in rubber hub you cannot reuse them once they have been pressed out.. As for the torque II hubs, you can also get hub kits for a omc and volvo to use a Merc prop.If you have the torque II hubs then you should be able to tap the hub out if its snug.

I'm not sure what type the old prop is, but the new one is a Vortex XHS. The old ones are rubber and based on how tight they look to be, seem like they must have been pressed in.<br /><br />Therefore, I assume that even if I took the time to press it out, I wouldn't be able to use it?
