I have a 1987 Yamaha 115Hp 115ETLH and it is on my 1979 18 ft Stuery bowrider. I just got the motor and the shop that put it on re propped it for me. they put a 13 1/4 X 17 prop on it, I was wondering if this prop is right for it. The reason I ask is I did the prop wizards online and it came back that for waterports the prop should be 14 X 13 and for speed it should be 13 3/4 X 15. I am maxed out on RPM at WOT at 6100 RPM, so I assume the pitch is right, I am getting about 37 mph using the speedo on the boat with 1 other person on the boat with me. When I am pulling a tube or have a boat load 30-35 is avg speed. I do have room for the larger size prop, there is a good inch between top of prop and any interference on the motor. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Leave it Alone.........

Going Down in Pitch will cause a Serious Over-Rev situation..........

Diameter is determined by Blade Design,........
Neither of those other 2 props will do a Thing for you,...... Except Over-Rev your motor.......

Yeah i figured the pitch was right on the money, and I assumed it was a perfect fit. I am planning on leaving it as is anyway, just needed some reassurance
