Anyone ever have a problem with excessive cavitation or changed their props pitch to bet better performance??
Mine are 24P and Im not happy with them.
twin bravo 3 Mercruiser 220Hp motors.
something is not right, too much cavitation, too hard to get up on plain.
to much viabration and working too hard.

When I changed the prop on my 1800MX with the 3.0L, I went from a 3 blade aluminum 21P to a 4 blade stainless 19P and it was a great change. The extra blade gets better "grip" on the water and the lower pitch gets out of the hole better but because it's stainless and not aluminum, the blades don't flex under load so I end up with RPM and top speed almost identical to my old prop.
