I have a 1993 Crownline 22.5', it has a 350 Magnum in it. My manual calls for about a 4400-4800 R.P.M at W.O.T. At W.O.T. I am getting about 4100 R.P.M. (trimmed) It currently has a 15 1/4" diameter prop with a 19 pitch. If I am reading everything correctly I want to get to the upper end of the required R.P.M. rating. So if I understand everything correctly.. in order to get to the upper end of the RPM scale I would need to go up in pitch correct?? so say a 17 pitch? Is that right? or do I need to go the other way? to say a 21 pitch? Or should I just stay with what I have?? never really run W.O.T anyway...thanks
