Why would they put different sized props on the same boat?

Does a 4 blade give better manuverablity?

Ken

You should be OK but if you'd like better holeshot you should drill relief holes behind the blades. Start at ten inch and move up if necessary.

Manoman was I confused when I saw this in the dc forum. I can relax now that it's where it belongs. BTW, there's 3 more props on that skiff. Chief :D

Re: Prop question....Walleyehed?

With three props being an odd number two have to be turning right or left. Does the boat torque in one direction or is the stearing neutral? I'm wondering if it's easier to throw a tubber off turning right or turning left? I'm thinking about putting three 1970 60 hp Evinrudes on the back of my 15' trihull. My wife can hang on better in a right hand turn. I want to be able to dump her as easily as possible, thus I need your help. Should I buy two right hand engines or two left hand engines? Any help will be greatly appreciated. CT
