I just want to make sure that I get the right part...at a decent price LOL.<br />The boat is an 81 bass tracker 1. I thought that the engine was to until I went to some site and when it asked for the model number it said it was a 78. The prop is chewed up pretty good and it has been suggested to change it before taking it into the water. Can you tell me if this is a 1978 or a 1981????<br />Its a merc. 40 hp. the model number found on the motor is:5661056<br />any suggestions and or tips would be most welcomed. Thank you<br />Dave
