I just bought a 1982 wellcraft that i'm restoring. It won't hit the water until next season. Anyway the question I had was in reguards to pitch. What would be the best pitch for top end speed at 5000 ft. ? also is there a difference between 3 blade and 4 blade props? Someone said like a 21 pitch prop but I think he's at sea level. Any info on pitch and what it means would be appreciated. Thanks.

Re: Prop question

This should probably go in the propellor section to get a good answer, but you might want to start by telling us what engine and outdrive you have? The length of the boat and the year of manufacture is also helpfull in geting an answer.. My crystal ball has been winterized and is out of service..:)
