Ok I'm dumb! I have a 1984 volvo penta 4 cylinder. I took off the propeller (14x19) to have it reconditioned and it looks great! However, i took it off so long ago that I'm not positive on how to put it back on. I'm pretty sure I have it right but wanted to double check with the pros. So here goes. hope this makes sense!<br /><br />1. I put the propeller on the shaft first with Marine Grease.<br /><br />2. Then put on the what looks to be like a locking nut with teeth.<br /><br />3. Then over the locking nut thing I put what looks like a round flat plastic thing. Don't know the name?<br /><br />4. Then on top of that I put this aluminum, peace that the cone locks into. Screwed down the cone and then screwed in the allen bolt.<br /> <br />Is this the right order?<br /><br />How tight do I screw down the cone? <br /><br />If it's to tight will the prop screw up something?<br /><br />Any help would be great!
