spun prop on 165 (250) inline six ran numbers on prop 031036 it was a michican 15.75. 17 pitch. 15 spline. the boat is an old winner 18ft, after researching for two day's, I'm thinking about going with the solas amita 19 pitch, diameter is 15.3/10 prop. I know this will reduce my hole shot and rpms, and should add a little to top end. any suggestion on this would be greatly appreciated

Re: prop recommendations

I run a 16p and 18p both 4 blades and 15" dia. Both work great, i get about 43 MPH with the 18p.

For me, 4 blades is the way to go. I wont have a 3 blade again.

Re: prop recommendations

Check out Turning Point. I'm running 2 of the Hustler aluminum 19p props and love them. They have great performance reviews, and their cust service is outstanding!
I bought the props in Aug last year, had the boat out 2-3 times after. This year noticed a slight vibration in one side, swapped the props and the vibration followed. Sent the prop/hub to them (hubs have a lifetime warranty) and they sent me a new prop and hub.
I picked them up on iBoats for $96ea with the hub kit!!
