Prop removal

What's the best way to remove a prop that is frozen to the shaft? Manual says to heat it until the hub melts. Is there something I should try first?

I think you better re-read that one.. <br />Mine says use plenty of WD spray.

Let the WD40 set overnight. You may have to use a puller to help get it off. <br /><br />That being said, my mechanic and I had to use a rubber mallet and the eventially some heat to get mine off. Be very careful with the heat. We did not come close to melting the hub.<br /><br />After you get it off, clean it good and use some antiseize on it to keep from happening again.<br /><br />Good Luck!
