Larry E Click to expand... Fairly certain that on my electric shift for Forward it rotates clockwise if you are looking at the boat from the rear. not sure on a 400 or 800 though.

Don S Honorary Moderator Emeritus Joined Aug 31, 2004 Messages 62,321 Mar 22, 2012 #3 Re: Prop Rotation Remove the coil wire from the coil and ground it, turn the ignition switch to run (if electric shift), shift into forward gear, then jumper the starter while in gear and see which way the prop shaft turns.
