Hello, Recently picked up a '95 Ranger '19 Fisherman w/ a 115 merc to replace my '89 Lund 1750 Tyee, 90 Johnson. It has a 20p stainless "Lazer" prop. Empty and just me, the boat will plane easily and top out at 44mph at 5300-5400 rpms. Loaded (three fisherman, gear, live well full) It is a little longer getting on plane and top speed is 38 mph at 5100rpms) I was thinking of getting a spare prop )and use as my heavy load prop) What do you think about a 19p stainless "ballistic" prop? Would it make much diff. or should I try a 17p? Thanks for any ideas!
