Prop Shaft Bearings

Should the prop shaft have two sets of bearings or just the one closest to the transome. I'm assuming since it has two sets of gears (one for forward, and one for reverse it should have a forward and reverse bearing. I think it is there, but frozen... How much is this going to cost? Can I still find them?

Are you talking about that 1964 Super Sea Horse? Sure, there are several bearings in there. And that isn't all there is in there. Cost?? If you have the Electramatic Shift, the sky is the limit.

The reverse bearing isn't working. It is frozen to the shaft. The forward works just fine.
