How do you interpret this pic. 2008 Tohatsu 115A2 OB

What direction is the seal pointing???? ---- ITS THE DARK PIC WITH AN INSET

Thanks —SEAL OPEN IN. NOT like a Yamaha with seal OPEN out. If I read that correctly.
