prop shaft seals, 69 115hp

I need to replace the prop shaft seals on my 69 evinrude 115 and was wondering how to get the carrier out since the puller is no longer available.

You are speaking of the slide hammer puller? I fabricated my own by heating and bending a hook in a piece of threaded steel rod. For the slide hammer part I used the one off a bushing puller tool from Harbor Freight.

Some jobs are better off being left to a qualified shop. Consider it.
