I have a 1991 bayliner capri 20 foot with a mercruiser 3.0L. I'm looking for more all around speed and holeshot in a four blade stainless, right now my boat goes 30mph with two people in it at full throttle it seems slow to me, is that about average speed for the boat or not.

Re: prop size

Welcome aboard

Have you weighed that boat? You might be hauling 500-600 lbs of water logged flotation. That boat is 30 years old..... what rpms are you turning?

Re: prop size

Please read the stickys at the top of the page.
We do need to know the present prop size usually near the base of the blades or under the prop nut.And will need the wot rpm and speed.
Your a little slow;I think 35+ is closer to the right speed.
