New to Mercruiser with a new boat this year......has a 1987 Alpha One Gen I outdrive on it.
the prop spins freely in neutral....
when in the forward gear, it will not spin in reverse, spins forward but has a clicking noise as it spins.
when in reverse gear, it will not spin forward, spins in reverse but has a clicking noise at it spins.
is this normal? On my old OMC when in gear the prop would not spin freely in either direction.
