propeller identification

I have a 1976 Johnson 70hp. It has a stainless prop but I cannot find any identification numbers for pitch and diameter. Is there any easy way to figure out exactly what I have.

Have you looked everywhere for an identifying mark? I have a prop on my Mercruiser/Alpha One setup (stainless steel prop) that had no markings on the outside, but if you pulled the prop there was a part number and a prop size/pitch specification on the inside of the prop on the gearcase side! Talk about inconvenient!

If you can't find any numbers at all, take it to a prop shop.
