I fought with a prop for hours before I used <br /> a harmonic balancer puller and a piece of <br /> rope. Just wrap the rope around the puller<br /> and the prop lobes. Tighten slowly. It<br /> should break it loose.

I removed a frozen prop by heating the rubber boot and prying it off. However, I had to cut the sleeve off the splined shaft which destroyed my thrust hub.

I have a 14hp johnson 1989 outboard and would like to know if i should use the same technique to remove my frozen propeller. I was able to free up the front threaded cover by chipping the plastic away and using WD40
