propellor issue

If the engine runs and the propellor doesn't turn, what could be wrong? Are there a lot of possibilities. Is a Johnson 110hp 2 stroke

Doesn't shift into gear, or in gear but the prop doesn't spin? If the latter, could be a spun prop (hub bushing slipping).

Broken remote control, broken cable, disconnected cable, misadjusted cable, disconnected linkage, damaged linkage, internal gearcase damage.

No forward, no reverse?

Yes a 110 HP is a 2 stroke.------Compression test should be done before spending any money on it.

Disconnect the shift cable at the engine and shift it manually. If it still fails to spin there is internal damage.
