I recently switched from a 1981 90HP Johnson to a 1985 115 Evinrude. Is my 5/16" diameter fuel line from the Johnson the correct size for the Evinrude? Thanks, Bert
I WOULD SAY YOU ARE O.K. BUT IF YOU WANT TO
GO TO A 3/8 GO BUT WHAT IS THE I.D. OF
THE FITTINGS. THAT ALL THE GAS YOUR GOING
TO GET THOUGH IT. WELL UNLESS YOU HAVE
A HIGH PRESSURE UNIT.
REX
JohnnyRudes require a minimum 5/16" i.d. fuel line for V4 and smaller motors. V6 and larger outboards require a minimum 3/8" i.d. fuel line.

You're ok.

-John
The fuel fittings, and fuel filter housing should also be a certain size, cant look up size out of town, no book, some generic fittings and filter housings have too small of a inside dia.
