I have a 1975 55 HP Chrysler. I am rather new to this but what should the gas/oil mixture be? On the back of the carton it has 100:1, 50:1, 32:1, & 16:1. I have heard of people using 50:1 but it seems like I read somewhere that 32:1 is much better. Any suggestions out there?

Thanks,
Shane

i believe the older motors ran a 100 mix but with a 50 i think u still get the lube requirement.

turtle,
I think you'd be fine with the 50 to 1(definitely not 100 to 1).The 32 to 1 would probably foul the plugs too easily. I think32 to 1 was for older engines than yours. ;)

Well, if 50:1 is the right ratio, that will work out good considering that I have a 6 gallon gas tank. The 16 ounces of oil make it just right. :)

Shane

I had a force, ran 50:1, ran great. I am not sure it that is what it called for tho.
