I just acquired a 20 hp Montgomery Ward's Sea King
outboard and am looking for some info on the year and
oil mix.I am guessing the motor is mid-60's and probably
50:1 but want to be sure, the serial # is 17x20117 and
the model # is vwb27020a, any help with this would be greatly appreciated. thanks

Re: PROPER OIL MIX FOR 20 HP WARD'S SEA KING?

Hi Paul, glad to be a member! just wanted to thank you
for your help with this and such a quick response! My
father and i had a feeling it may be chrysler related because we has a 1966 chrysler 50 horse and this motor is very similar to that, the cowl is almost identical
and it is brown and white like a West Bend.
Thanks Again,
take care - BOONER
