Pardon this stupid question but does the cotter pin go through the rubber cap or completely inside it for the prop? I bought the motor used & lost the cap & drive pin while I was out. I got replacements but I'm not sure how the cotter pin goes. My Clymer manual seems to hint that the pin goes through the cap rather than underneath it, but I can't tell for sure.
