Hello, I have a Shoreland'r trailer and was wondering if the rollers are set in the right position or if I should move the back set out a bit. Take a look at the pics and let me knoew what you all think.

Thanks
Jeremy

If you move them out, they are gonna start to hit the outer strakes on the hull.

If it isn't causing any problems, leave it as is.

I thought maybe the outside roller should be on the outside of the strakes. I have a few more pics for everybody to see, let me know if there is a particular view needed.
Thanks

The further out you can get the rollers the lower the boat rides on the trailer. The easier its going to be to get centered and you increase the stability.

Looks like you could easily push them out another 4-6" on each side before you have problem with the strakes.

Sure you can move them out beyond the strakes, looks like there is plenty of room for one roller to be outside.

It will lower the boat too, and you won't have to back into the water as far to launch and load.

Re: proper roller position?

I have been looking at this a bit more and think that if I move the rear set of rollers out 10 inches inside edge of outside rear rollers would be 2 inches outside of strake and lower the rear about 2 inches, rear set of rollers are NOT height adjustable. Rear crossmember is straight. If I move the front set out about 12 inches so the stradle the strakes ( extra strake near the bow) it will lower the front about 2 inches. The front set of rollers DO have height adjustment and the outside roller would be near the edge of the boat that crossmember is curved. Keel is currently 3.5 inches off the tounge, the is a keel roller forward of the woble rollers by 36 inches and one just forward of the rear woble rollers on the front set, I don't think I can get the keel rolers down mor than 1.5 inches. Can the boat sit on the trailer with the bow higher than the stern? I use 2 straps on the stern up, and the bow has the winch strap, another strap and a saftey chain. What do you guys think of me using a jack and wood blocks to lift the boat on the keel so I can do this in the driveway? I know the lake would be easiest but I have to do this when the kids are in bed and the wife is at work.
