I have played around with the trim on the boat and i started all the way down at take off then when on a plane i trim it up abit . Seems to make it bounce around so i bring it back down and seems to ride nice and smooth. Do you have to trim it up or can you keep it all the way down . It is 19ft bayliner with 3.0l mer . Could my pitch be to high now i have a 19" pitch . Thanks for the help

Re: proper trim set

the trim is just to find a sweet spot depending on the amount of people you have on your boat or weather a littel bit up or down will make the boat feel just right

i have 3 props 14*21 14*19 and a 15*17 i like the 15*17 best but every boat and owner is different with the 15*17 i can over rev the motor if i am by myself but it allows the boat to run best with a full load on board

tommays
