I have a 2004 Suzuki 115DF on a 18.5 ft lund fisherman, I also have 9,9 kicker in the back. I currently have 2 props. the range is 5000-6000 rpms

with the 14'' x 23'' pitch aluminum suzuki prop
by myself WOT it around 5700 rpms
loaded 5500 rpms
poor holeshot and ventilates

I tried an 14'' x 19'' aluminum suzuki prop
by myself WOT it around 6200-6300 rpms
loaded 6000-6100 rpms
Good holeshot and better handling and ventilates less, lose about 2-3 mph
RMPS are too high at WOT

I am have never had a stainless prop before and don't know what size or pitch I would need. I was thinking a 14'' x 20'' would be good but not sure how to correlate the ALUM vs stainless and I have no idea which brand to look at. Stilleto? power tech? Quicksilver? Solas? Turning Point?

ANY help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Denis

if it were mine id put a good ss 19 pitch 4 blade with cup. nothing like having awsome hole shot, great top end, and overall performance. best part in being on a plane at lower speeds.

Thanks for the reply, what is the difference with regards to RPM's for a 3 blade and 4 blade. With the aluminum 3 blade I am running too high over my 6000.

Thanks
