Re: Proplite?

I've see it before but too rich for my blood, I have also seen a welding magnet welded to a bar with a bracket and an extra tail light plugged in as a 3 rd brake light, bungee'd to the lower unit. The magnet and bracket are welded offset so the light faces rearward, the bungee is a back up in case the heavy duty welding magnet falls off. I think you could make one for about $ 6 bucks if you have an extra light

I like the idea of the back-up sensor. My trailer lights are far from the back of the boat as well.

I've concidered painting the lower unit florescent orange or yellow and adding reflecty tape as well. DEfinately will add the reflecty tape but not so sure about that florescent paint.:p

I went ahead and ordered one up.
Cabelas has them in the bargain cave for $29.88.
At that price it seems like a good deal.

Re: Proplite?

I am not 100% sure for your area but if your load is 1 yard past your trailer lights it either a red flag at the longest point or lights. :)
