Props

I am sure that you have been asked this question many times before, but here we go again.<br /><br />I am looking to buy a new prop for my 1997 25 hp Merc tiller motor on my Lund Rebel 16 boat. The problem is that I can't stay on plane with 2 people in the boat.<br /><br />What pitch and/or diameter would give me more speed or help me stay on plane better?

You are only running about 1/2 the rated HP for that boat so performance will be marginal as you are experiencing. Can you elaborate more on how the boat performs ? A prop change may not do any good.
