Props?????

I am new to my boat, rebuilding a 1971 Johnson 60HP. What does prop size or prop pitch mean and what should I use. My boat is a 15ft tri hull don't know the make of boat no markings so far.

Had friends back in those days running your rig and had 15" pitch if skiiing. If not the next pitch up (17). Not minding your business, but that boat is not suited for rough open water. Buyer beware. Have had personal involvement with friends (3 different 15' tri hulls) who had very bad experiences in rough water. <br /><br />Be careful and keep the bow up.<br /><br />Mark

Seems alot of worries about rough open water.....there is not much open water in Utah...I usually fish Strawberry Res.
