Howdy, KSF.<br /><br />Two blades make less drag, but need to be larger diameter to have adequate thrusting plane.<br /><br />Three blades are a compromise to keep the diameter down and still offer enough thrusting surface.<br /><br />Good luck.
Choosing the right prop for the right purpose takes knowledge of all involved details:<br /><br />Engine size, boat, weight, the use and much more. <br /><br />One prop that is right for one may be totally wrong for another.
