Protection for bow during towing?

Guys,

I'm looking for what I'll call a "boat bra." I'm looking for something to protect the bow of my runabout during towing. I've seen the "grass skirt" attachment to the receiver, but I don't want another gadget to keep track of. I've seen a tarp like device that attaches to the bow of the boat, and protects it from debris kicked up by the towing vehicle. Does anyone have an idea where one could find such an item?

TIA,

Jeff

Usually procured locally. Custom made = $$$

That's kind of the situation I figured I was facing. Seems like a "million dollar idea" for someone <g>.

Here is one I made for my walleye boat. It is separate from the cover because when docked the trolling motor sits on the bow but the main cover can still be installed. It was also designed to keep air from getting under the cover while towing. This entire cover actually sucks down when towing rather than ballooning. A larger bra could be easily made by your local canvas shop or if you know someone with a heavy duty sewing machine, perhaps they would do it for you.

Kid, thanks for the links.

Silvertip, that's exactly what I'm looking for. Thanks for the photo. I have a tarp manufacturer in New York Mills, MN (made my lift canopy cover last summe). I'm going to take your photo to him and see if he can make me a "bra."
