What is the cylinder compression testing range for a 90hp-3 cylinders Force Mercury ?

I think you want to be up around 145-155 PSI. Depending upon your tester you may get lower results. I would not worry if all cylinders were 120 or better and all cylinders were withing 10 PSI of each other.

I got 100psi on 1 and 2. On the bottom cylinder I get no reading at all... Took the whole thing apart and there are major sand blockage at the water intake. Still haven't taken the cylinders apart yet but will do tonight to inspect what other damages it has.
BTW, any old threads on rebuilding of of the force engines ?

Update:
Took it out tonight and found out that it hasn't been started in a while so lubricant dried up and have a slight rust. The rings on bottom cylinder stuck really good in the groove. I suspect it was overheat because of the clogged intake. Overall, I think the engine hasnt been used very much and the boat has been sitting over the years.

Any info on a ring kit for this '94 90hp force mercury ? (my 120hp rings wont go in this, there's a slight angle on the top rings)
