Re: Psst, wanna buy a boat?
The only way these types of scam will ever stop, is when the greedy and gullible, wise up.
Another scam that has been around al long as the Internet:
It is truly amazing how many people would actually think, that an email message, from a deposed African dictator, fleeing his country and who is willing to share his millions of dollars, if one launder's it through their personal bank account, is a square deal.
Amazing
Hey.
Want a 1997 Crestliner 1750 sportfish LIKE NEW!!! - $5300

Complete scam. Guy does the ebay escrow thing but will ship it to your door for that price, as long as you pay first. Of course the ebay page he sends you to is fake and he won't give his location and went pretty silent when I tried to set up and inspection and get the trailer vin.
Was trying to get any real info out of him to send to the cops, but nothing useful came up.
Anyway, this same boat was on about 30 Craigslist pages when I first saw it, everywhere from Miami to Edmonton.
Really wish something could be done but even reporting it to craigslist, the listing is still there.
