88 OMC 2.3L Cobra
My impeller housing was leaking and i overheated real bad (smoke, water peculating, fried bellows) and I stopped on an island and discovered the problem and fixed it (i thought) and took it on a test run across the river.
It seemed to be ok temp wise but suddenly it puked all the motor oil out and I saw the guage drop and shut it off...
I cant tell where the oil came out but the dipstick was pushed up about 4 inches so im thinking it came out there..
The oil was dark, didnt appear to be water contaminated,
the engine wasnt knocking or giving any indication of a major problem..
My question is.. what would cause a very recently way overheated engine to puke out its oil thru the dipstick??
