can you pull start an outboard motor that is an electric start, if so how do I go about doing it?

Normally on Most outboards, YES you can.<br />First remove the Motor cover, the flywheel on top should have some notches for a rope.<br /><br />Make sure the motor is in Nuteral. Turn ignition key to run and wrap rope around groove in flywheel after hooking end of rope with large knot in notch in flywheel.<br /><br />Pull hard. Good Luck

Thanks for info, it's a 75hp evinrude with a 90hp head on it,whatever that means.
