I have a Thunderbolt 9.8 Mercury motor Serial # 5542691 year 1981. The pull start does not work. Is one of the washers pressed on to the main shaft? Do you have a print that shows how the washers are stacked on the shaft? My son took it apart and I am trying to get it back together. I can get it to turn the flywheel but the recoil will not pull the cord back until the top nut is loosened. Any Ideas?
