I'm going to be pulling the sterndrive off the boat to inspect the bellows, gimble, align ect. I have purchased a new gasket kit and in the manual it says to position and "glue" the rubber gasket into the bell housing before reinstalling the drive. What type of "glue" are they referring to?

Thanks.

Bellows adhesive is what I use, contact cement would work, nothing special. You just don't want that gasket to get bumped out of place, or you will get water in the bellows.
