My 1989 had the transom replaced about 9 years ago but the boat only has 280something hours on it since 1989.
My question is it does not seam like the hooks on the back for skiers are very braced.. Just looks like a U bolt. Would adding a steel plate across the whole transom and bolting the hooks through the plate (in their current location) be over kill? I just dont want to put so much stress in such a small amount of area.
