I just cleared 180-200 3-7 inch pines and mixed hardwoods off a small lot. I rented a bob-cat with a back blade on one end and a bucket on the other. Back blade popped 90 % of them, and the bucket was used on some of the hardwoods, and bigger ones. Chains and trucks are not even close to efficient, and they are very dangerous setting that many times, and all that gas and wear and tear. Grinding is a waste of time on small scrubs like this.
After I pulled and stacked them, I back bladed the entire lot smooth. Took less than 1 day to clear the entire lot.
