pulse pack question

i just bought a 1970 evinrude 115hp and someone attempted to put a new pulse pack on it but only half the wires are connected and the other half may not be connected right. im looking for a wiring diagram for the motor or the pulse pack. the pack on it is a omc 398363 by wabash. im not even sure it belongs on the motor cause it has seven wires instead of the six on the oe one that i found laying in the boat. any help would be appreciated. i would really like to get this one hooked up correctly before i try anything else

I would suggest getting an OEM Factory Service Manual. It's also good for anything else on the mtr that crops up.
